Must see list - Malaysian Peninsular

There was no way we could miss out the Malaysian Peninsular on our trip from Singapore to Bangkok overland, and after some reading we understood why this overland route is so popular.

The big question in this part of the overland trip is that we don't know how easy it will be to fit everywhere that sounds interesting in without having to go back on ourselves a fair bit.

The obvious place to start coming in from Singapore, after Johor Bahru, is the capital Kuala Lumpur if only to see the Petronas Towers from the ground and the sights from it's skybridge. After that it seems to be a question of either heading up the west coast or travelling on the eastern or western side of centre on the way to Thailand.

The Cameroon Highlands on the western side of centre sound like an English person's dream come true, especially those of us who have a kettle that never gets cold (tea country)!

On the eastern side of centre the jungle train through the Taman Negara National Park sounds like an experience not to be missed. The question is whether we spend any longer in the park.

Either way we are bound to see and experience something completely different to the other countries we will have been to by then, which will hopefully be a time to hone our travelling skills after months of city living and internships.
