After staying out so late the night before, there was no way we were up for anything too exciting, demanding, or too far away.

So much for a quiet night in. One good thing about living in a shared house with other interns is that you get to share ideas, have other people to go and see the sights with, and if you're lucky have someone else who shares your hobbies.

Life seems pretty normal now in Sydney. Just like being at home, only we feel more obliged to make the most of our weekends in this fab country.

After a really frustrating day we were really glad of some life as normal.

Not quite sure if arriving by Greyhound bus is better or worse than any other method, but arriving in the dark is definately interesting.

This is called a more awake day, but it certainly didn't feel like that when we woke up. It was too early for us - 8am isn't a good time to get up when you feel like you are on one long holiday, but we have to try and switch our thinking to that of explorers - the saying the early bird catches the worm seem to ring true. If you sleep too long you miss most of what there is to see, but bed just always seems too comfy.

After about a 30mins shuttle ride to our accommodation, through industrial looking areas, on roads 4 lanes wide, with traffic lights that actually used the amber light, thankfully not having to negotiate the lanes and directions on our own, we were left in a nice looking residential area close to a row of shops, with almost a skyline view of the city.

We were so exited to be on our way to Australia, but even excitement alone couldn't keep us awake. The long night at the airport had taken it's toll on us.
